It’s easy to start by wondering what’s next, but I start by wondering why you don’t know what’s next.
Typically when we don’t know what the next move is, it usually means there’s something behind that’s still holding us back— there’s something in your past that still may need some attention.
Before moving forward, it may be necessary to move backwards.
Before starting something big, exciting, and beautiful, it may be necessary to mourn the loss of something that held value to you in the past. Before you take the next turn on the path, it may be necessary to let go of the possibilities that the current path held.
What’s next should be asked at the same time as what came before.
Your past and future are more closely connected than you may realize.
In the comments, how have you found what’s next to be about what has come before? How is this helpful, or unhelpful? Or just give a shout out to let me know you’re listening. Click here to comment.
Its true….our past and future are connected. We cant assume next step without think about our past or present. thanks its such a useful blog.
I am listening and what you graciously send are thoughtful reminders that help very much.
